March 2024 Client of the Month is...

River & Takeya!

Fauna & Flora Photography Proudly Presents March's Client of the Month:

Takeya Williams and Little River

As March ushers in the first signs of spring (like allergies - woohoo), it’s a pleasure to highlight our inspiring Client of the Month, Takeya Williams, and her delightful son, River. Their story is one of immense love and unwavering strength.

See our memories together below

A Resilient Beginning

Takeya, a dedicated special education preschool teacher, embarked on a heartfelt journey to motherhood through IVF. River, their lucky number 13 embryo, continued this serendipitous theme by being placed in NICU room 13 upon his early arrival—establishing thirteen as their lucky number.

Takeya's pregnancy was smooth until the third trimester when she faced unexpected challenges with a preeclampsia diagnosis, leading to her hospitalization at 31 weeks. River was born two weeks later, at exactly 33 weeks, weighing just under 4 pounds. His early days were spent in the NICU, where he demonstrated the resilience that defines him today.

Milestones of Growth and Joy

Now over a year old, River exemplifies joy and determination. He's mastering physical milestones with the aid of physical therapy, recently achieving the ability to pull himself up to stand. This marks exciting progress, suggesting that walking won’t be far behind for this brave little boy. River's infectious smile and spirited nature make every day brighter for those around him.

Takeya’s Touch of Care

In both her personal and professional life, Takeya shows profound care and commitment. Her work as a special education teacher mirrors the loving attention she gives River, preparing her to handle every challenge with grace.

Adventures in Food and Nature

Takeya and River enjoy their moments under the sun, embracing the outdoors with enthusiasm. River, quite the food explorer for his young age, enjoys diverse tastes ranging from broccoli to sushi, showing no hesitation in trying new and exciting dishes.

Crafting New Traditions

As they explore life together, Takeya and River are creating new family traditions, cherishing each day’s new adventures and learnings.

With Gratitude

Thank you, Takeya, for letting Fauna & Flora Photography into your world. Your journey with River is a beautiful testament to the strength and joy of motherhood. We are excited to watch River reach each new milestone, knowing he has a wonderful mother by his side.
