I am so overjoyed to share our new monthly newsletter here at Fauna & Flora Photography: Client of the Month! This will be a recurring newsletter on the 1st Friday of every month.
When you are selected as Client of the Month, you receive a $50 credit with Fauna & Flora Photography that does not expire, as a way to show my appreciation for you. Upon acceptance, the showcased client will come in for a free head shot (showcased) and quick chat about what we want discussed in the newsletter. At the end of every newsletter there will be a link ('click here') that takes you to a public gallery where you can view a handful of images I've captured during our professional time together.
I have met so many beautiful families and individuals with so many beautiful stories and backgrounds over my years of photography. This is Sebastian!
Sebastian's mom, Brooke, describes her son as below...
Sebastian is a 4 year old little boy who loves to swim, play outside, eat bananas, laugh and bring positive energy anywhere he goes.
Sebastian is also living with albanism and Angelman Syndrome. He receives multiple therapies each week for his vision and mobility. While he is non-verbal, there isn’t much else he’s not able to do. He can walk, run, jump, climb, and be just as rambunctious as any other 4 year old.
Angelman syndrome is a rare neurogenetic disorder that affects approximately 1:15,000 individuals. Characteristics of Angelman syndrome may include individuals being non-verbal, having seizure activity, difficulty with balance and walking, disrupted sleep, and fine motor challenges. Scientists believe AS has the greatest potential to be cured when compared to any other neurogenetic disorder.

"I have had the pleasure of knowing Sebastian and his family both personally and professionally. I have watched him grow into his personality over the years, and I couldn't be more proud. I can attest that this boy brightens up every single room he walks into. You can tell how much love he is surrounded by, by how much love and positivity he radiates back into the world. His mom, Brooke, is someone to be recognized as well. She is his voice, his rock, and his everything, just as he is her everything. It doesn't take even a minute of being around Brooke for you to hear and even feel the love she has for her son.
Whether it's Sebastian mom, grandma, auntie, or cousin, he always has someone by his side, rooting for him day and night. The support and love I've seen from his family is so beautiful, strong, and admirable. Sebastian has a family whose bond cannot be broken, and I couldn't be more thankful that they have chosen me to capture so many moments down memory lane."
