Ava Lockett!
I met Ava and her beautiful family 3 years ago on her very first birthday. Little did I know, I would get to watch her grow for the years to come!
Shortly following our first session together, I had the honor of capturing her parent's wedding day at The Weingarten in Belleville. This was one of the first weddings I ever worked professionally, and to say I was nervous is an understatement!
I was still working on getting the foundation established for my business and, to be honest, I had no idea what I was doing. I recall thinking to myself repeatedly, "These people want me to capture such an important day!?" Looking back, they probably didn't realize how nervous I really was - I put on a pretty good pokerface. At the time, I was 22, less than a year postpartum from my second child, and frankly I felt like I had no business doing such a "big" job. One thing I've learned though since starting a business, is that you have to believe in yourself MORE than everyone else does.

We've gotten to go on so many adventures together since we first met, and every time she has something new to tell me. Ava is so fast, I recently learned she's never lost a race! She's never afraid to bust out a new dance move and has recently discovered her singing voice. I can't wait to see where her many talents take her in life. If there's one thing I know, Ava is going places!"

Ava Marie is full of love and empathy for others and she is always looking to help out!
She loves snuggles with her mommy and running with her daddy. Ava Marie is also very competitive and has never lost a race, because she's as fast as a little bird and no one can keep up (not even daddy)!
One of Ava's favorite things to do is go to school with her friends and hang out with her teachers!"
